Hello! My name is Nonie (she/her) and I am one of the co-presidents of the SLSA! I am in my 2nd year of Law & Society and am thrilled to be a part of this community and club again! I hope to be able to create an including and helpful environment within our club this year and with the help of our new team I’m sure I will. Outside of school I love fashion and reading!

Hi Everyone! My name is Grace (she/her) and I am a 5th year Sociology student with a minor in Law & Society. As Co-President of the SLSA, I am very excited to help lead our amazing team of executives and foster a strong sense of community! Outside of our club, I love to travel and spend time with friends & family!

Hey everyone! I'm Maraya, the VP of Communications for the SLSA. I'm currently in my third year of studying Law and Society. Outside of the SLSA, I also just joined the UC Bouldering Club. When I'm not busy with school or clubs, I enjoy playing guitar, hanging out with friends, working out, or going out to shows whenever I can.

Hi everyone, I’m Cinby, I’m technically in my third year of Law and Society with a minor in Sociology. I am a co-op student, therefore I am actually currently doing my work term with the Government of Canada. This is my second year with the SLSA and I am now the Media Engagement Coordinator. In my free time, I like to hangout with my friends and travel.

I'm Ziga Poromon, a 4th year Law & Society major, minoring in Sociology. I'm one of the Communications Initiatives Coordinators and I'm excited to be back with the SLSA! I'm an actor, poet, and writer, I love playing piano, sports, and watching documentaries in my free time. @zigaporomon

​Hello everyone! My name is Temitope and I am in my fourth year of Law and Society. I love going for concerts, writing, learning musical instruments, and going on adventures with my friends. This is my third year as a Communications Coordinator at the SLSA and I look forward to another amazing year connecting with all of you!

Andisha

Hi everyone! My name is Andisha, and I will be one of your Events VPs this year. I am a fourth-year Law and Society major with a minor in Political Science, and this will be my third year being part of the SLSA. My goal is to foster a strong sense of community among both students and faculty, where everyone feels welcomed and included. Outside of university, I enjoy biking, watching TV, listening to music, and exploring history and politics. Please don’t hesitate to say hello if you see me around. I look forward to this year!

Hi everyone! My name is Warisha Qaimkhani, and I am the VP of Events! I am in my fourth year of sociology, currently completing an Honours degree. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, working out, and volunteering. I’m really looking forward to being part of the SLSA team and creating meaningful events together!

Hi everyone! My name is Aria (she/her) and I’m the academic coordinator for SLSA. I’m in my 4th year of law & society. Outside of school, I love hosting events, painting, and spending time with friends. I’m also always down for good food, late-night conversations, and spontaneous adventures. I’m really looking forward to connecting with more of you this year and making the most of my last year here 🤍

Hey! My name is Reese, I am a fourth year Communications and Media Studies Major. In my free time I like to do anything outdoorsy, and I am very excited to be part of the SLSA team with my role as a social events coordinator!!

Hi! I’m Jonathan I’m a 4th year combined Law and Society and Political Science major. This is my second year with the SLSA and I am the Vice-President of External. I look forward to working and connecting with our club members and others this following year.

My name is Ariha Tahir, I’m a fourth year Law & Society Major and have a minor in Philosophy. I am returning as VP of Finance this year! Outside of school I love hiking, skiing, and riding my motorcycle. I look forward to meeting everyone!

I'm currently in the third year of my combined degree of Law and Society and Psychology. In my free time I love to swim, do yoga or hangout with my friends! I am so excited to meet all of you and have an amazing year!

Antonia

Hi! I’m Antonia, a fourth-year Law and Society major and I am very excited to begin my first year with SLSA as a fundraising coordinator. Outside of school, I enjoy exploring different restaurants and cafés around the city with friends, reading, and traveling to new places. I’m looking forward to an amazing year with SLSA and am eager to work on fundraising initiatives while fostering meaningful connections with fellow students and the community.

Zoe

Hi everyone! My name is Zoe (they/she) and I’m in my fourth year of sociology with a minor in anthropology! I’m the current VP Academic for the SLSA and have been part of the club for about three years :)

Some hobbies I love include: making collages, clay art, singing, and playing jazz music!

Hi! I am Ashna, a second year student pursuing Law and Society. I'm going to serve as the Internal Engagement Coordinator this year. Beyond academics and work, I have endless amount of hobbies with little to no time to do them. My favourite ones are crafting, painting and reading as much as I can!
